So, yeah, I know what you're thinking.... I want to come to the birthday bash SO BADLY, but I'm not sure I can afford it!
First, I want to tell you that you will DEFINITELY get your $$'s worth. The first class that our guest instructor Gretchen McElveen is teaching has over $75 worth of product included! That's CRAZY!
But more importantly I want to tell you how you can go to the event for free, just by clearing out your old scrapbook supplies you no longer want or use.
We are going to host another
*Clean Sweep Consignment Sale*!
Saturday August 1- Monday August 3
We will be holding our second bi-annual Clean Sweep Crafter’s
consignment sale on Saturday August 1, 10am-3pm, Sunday August 2, 2pm-5pm,
and Monday August 3, 10am-6pm. If you are interested in participating in this
event, below are the guidelines Sweet Memories has put in place:
Items Accepted:
We will accept new and gently used scrapbook, stamping, card making and
other paper crafting materials and tools.
Everything must be clean, complete and in good working
condition.
Registration:
We are limiting the sale to 25 sellers and
you MUST call to go over the details and sign the consignor’s
agreement. Spots to participate will
be reserved in the order of calls received.
Cost:
A fee of $10 is due to the store the day you sign the consignor's agreement. All agreements must be signed by Thursday, July 23.
Consignor’s will earn 90% of their total sales that will be
paid in STORE CREDIT ONLY to offset the cost of the 1st annual Birthday Bash. Anything you earn above and beyond the cost of the event will be given in store credit. 10% of
the sales go toward credit card processing fees, store bags, and our time in
organizing the sale.
Example: We sell $230 worth of your product. You will attend the event for free ($125 value) and receive $82 in store credit to spend. Out with the old, in with the new :)
Pricing:
Pricing is the responsibility of the seller. All prices are
considered “firm.” You will not be bothered by us or buyers trying to negotiate
for a lower price. Please price accordingly.
You may sell your items packaged however you wish but some
guidelines must be followed:
All paper must be in 12x12 clear bags. These may be
purchased for $0.18 each. These will only be available to consignment sale
participants. Paper must be priced in $0.50 increments. No single sheets will
be sold.
All embellishments must be in clear zippered bags and priced
in $0.50 increments.
Oversized items do not have to be bagged.
Every bag or item
must have a label attached to the bag or item with
your customer sales number and the price. * You will receive your customer number when you sign the consignor's agreement.
Monday afternoon at 2pm all merchandise that is left will be
sold at 50% off. You must highlight the tags of items you do NOT want to be sold at 1/2 price.
Drop Off & Pick Up:
All items must be dropped off by Thursday July 30 at 6PM.
All remaining merchandise must be picked up by Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 6PM or it becomes the property of Sweet Memories and will
be donated.
The Fine print:
Sweet Memories is not responsible for lost or stolen
merchandise.
Items with missing labels, or illegible information will be
sold at the discretion of Sweet Memories.
Cancellations will be taken up to Wednesday July 22 for a
store credit refund ONLY.
Sellers are NOT required to be present to sell their items.
An e-mail or phone notification will be given to tell you
the amount of items sold and your total store credit on Wednesday August 5.
